I am back in school for my Senior year and my schedule is majorly crazy. I have 4 out of 5 classes that are studio classes for reasons beyond my control. So far homework has been pretty rough, but in historical processes almost all my work is done in class because it is 6 hours long and I can do other hw during the exposure times when they are long. Basically I am looking forward to this semester being over. Only 3 more months!
Last week I got a new lens for my camera, which has become my very best friend. Its and 18-200mm and before all I had was a 50mm. I have already shot over 500 photos with it and am SO happy I finally was able to get it. I was planning on getting it this summer and than my car's starter died and I had to wait again. Cars are stupid.
Anyways life is good, hw is not good, and I need sleep.

Eventually I will put the pictures of my studio lighting final up, but since I got home a couple weeks ago I have been pretty busy. I got three photography jobs before I was even done with school, which was pretty cool. I am taking my cousin's Senior portraits, photographing a wedding shower in June, and the lady my little sister dog sits for every few weeks wants portraits of her two dogs. All that will be fun and really good experience. I also got my job at the Inn back. I didn't want to even call them but I did becuase jobs are scarce and it wasn't looking promising. So when I called I also asked for a raise seeing I have been comming back during breaks for 3 years, this being the 4th. And I actually got it! Seeing they aren't technically hiring right now I was really grateful for the job and raise even though I would rather not work there. Anyway I start next week and this week I did a ton of work in the gardens and helped my dad with a few projects. On top of all that my sister is getting married in August and I am the Maid of Honor. My mom and I are having a Pampered Chef Bridal Shower for her, which is gonna be really fun because we don't have to do much other than invite people and show up, so that is helpful seeing I wil be pretty busy.
I hope everyone else's summers are going well so far.

Kentucky was awesome. It was a really great experience and i'm glad I went. The 16 hour drive through 9 states wasn't as fun as the rest of the trip, but we made the best of it. We got to help restore a transitional housing apartment as well as we went to a Bible camp out in the middle of no where and painted 5 different rooms in 2 different houses there. One of my favorite things I saw there though was defiantly green grass and flowers! hehe I took a whole bunch of pictures so they will be coming soon. I guess that's it for now.

This semester seems to be flying by. I didn't have hardly any homework for almost a week and than I got a ton and of course got sick. Yay. I wasn't feeling too bad Friday & Saturday only a sore throat. Than Sunday came and everything just felt wrong basically. Than the power went out last night for a hour due to a car crash, but soon after it came on we got an e-mail saying today was a snow day so I decided to put off typing the paper I wrote until today when I didn't have a fever. As much as I dislike snow I was so thankful for a snowday to recover a little more before facing the week ahead of me. Although having to move my car didn't help with too much, but I survived. I finished all my homework except for the project due Thursday. So I can work on that soon and should be fine.
On to other stuff I finished my website in interactive design. Its basically a portfolio. I will be putting it online eventually, but first I want to make a few more pages in the gallery's. Our next project for that class is a website using animation. I have an awesome idea I am working on, but I am just hoping I can pull it off.
On spring break March 14-21st I am going to Kentucky on a community service trip working on houses and such. I am really excited for that, but I have so much to do before that so I am trying not to stress out too much. I have to renew my license before I leave because my birthday is the day after we get back and is a Sunday, and my car has to be inspected this Monday so I have to switch with my parents this Friday which will be interesting because mine is standard and they only have automatics. I offered to go without a car for the weekend, but they insisted I have one.
Anyway I really should work on my other project.

I felt like updating this, although not much new to report.
I did get to go sledding the day before I left for school, but it was so stinking cold out that there was no way I could get pictures because I couldn't even feel my fingers, hands,and toes all within 5 minutes. I was wearing plenty of layers and really good gloves too, but thats just me I get cold way to easy.
I started Studio Lighting (along with my other classes, but for obvious reasons this one excites me the most). Its a new teacher so I wasn't sure what to expect, but so far I think it should be an excellent semester. Today was our first day actually doing something beyond the welcome to class stuff and I feel like I learned a lot and will be learning a whole lot more through the way he is running the course.
On a completely different note, but also exciting, my car decided yesterday that it wouldn't start and today it finally started up again. It took a whole lot of headaches to get there, but it only cost me $4.95 for some dry gas/anti-freeze stuff cause my gas line froze apparently. I was in a horrible mood today thinking my car was gonna need something repaired and how I had been saving for a new lens and now wouldn't be able to get it. Thank God it started and was able to run for a bit to get all defrosted and happy again.
I also should be able to use my brand new Macbook for internets soon too once I get some anti-virus on it. My pc does some stupid things on the internet so I can't wait tojust un-hook it and use it for other things like games instead. I also got the Adobe CS4 premium with it (basically for free) So I have been playing in a lot of those programs and will be learning dreamweaver in Interactive Design this semester too.
I guess there was something to update on after all, even if its boring to everyone else.
